After a lot of prayerful consideration I have decided not to return to Belfast Bible College to pursue the Queen's University BD. Instead I am now to study at the Union Theological College and QUB.

Well I'm here in one piece (at least I think so). Internet access is very limited, I have only been able to spend roughly 20mins omline spread over two occassions. I have taken plenty of pictures and I have loads of stories to tell about Lesotho.

It has been such a wonderful and informative time here working with the African Church.

Africa or bust...

Well it's nearly time for me to leave for Africa. I'm going on the 3rd July and I won't return until 10th August. I looking forward to it but still I am rather apprehensive.

As I said in a previous post, I am going to Lesotho with Africa Inland Mission to assist the local Church; what lies in the not too distant future is in the hands of God.

So it aint long now till I leave to go to the nations, only bout 2 weeks left till I'm off. I'm gonna take this time to climb a few mountains and do some prayin' about a whole lot of things. Thought I would show ya all a recent picture of me on top of Slemish.....

Phew! What A Week

Well people, I'm back. Sooooo sorry for the huge delay in my latest post but I have been very very busy. Well then I guess you all want to know what has been happenin'......

Now then, last thusday I had my last exam (synoptic on Discipleship), well it was dire - probably better for me just to forget about it or I get upset. On the plus side I found out that I will be staying in Africa for longer than expected - woohoo!!! - I think I'm staying until the 10/11th August, leaving on the 3rd July!! So yet another answered prayer. So i'm pretty busy gettin' things organised for Lesotho, so far it's costing a fortune buying loadsa new kit, but it has to be done.

Better rush off here and go mad on ebay!! I'll leave you all with the invitation to gaze admiringly at the fine picture of myself....

Yesterday I spent the whole day at a beach in donegal, I definatley needed something like that after breaking up from Bible College - it was beautiful....

Lesotho Here I Come....

Here's where I'm headin'

Well It's pretty much firmed up that I'm headin' to Lesotho at the start of July and won't be back till the start of August, although at the moment I'm begging them to let me stay out there a few weeks longer!!! Just have to wait and see what happens.

By the way, if at this stage you are asking yourself where or what is Lesotho, then take comfort in the fact that you are not alone (I didn't know either). If you look at South Africa (on the map provided) then you can just make it out. It's a very small country, roughly the same size of Norn Iron, where there is a big need for God. So that's why I'm headin' there, to fulfill the great commission given by Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations, and by the grace of our almighty God I will do so with conviction!!

The only hope and prayer I have, as one redeemed by the Lamb of God, is that in whatever means whereby possible; I give all the glory, praise and honour to the one who first loved me.

Hey people, I was sitting pondering Exodus Chapter 3 today (as you do) and I just happened to think that had I have stayed on at the University of Wolverhampton I would have been graduating this month with a BA in War Studies, and then straight off to The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in September for one year, then becoming a full lieutenant in the British Army - and then who knows, off to war in charge of thirty men???

I guess the realisation of the entity greater than self that I know as God as revealed through the living Jesus Christ, must have had different ideas....

Instead of once choosing to live and die for 'Queen and Country', I now choose to live, die and ultimatley inherit eternal life through the 'King of Kings'!!!!!! - Ain't no comparission is there??

Praise be to God, who's ways are not necessarily man's ways.

What's Been Happenin'

Well I guess I better tell what I've been up to lately, I hope to have some really kewl pictures posted soon (mostly of me).

So where do i start???

Well currently I have just completed my first year at Belfast Bible College where I hope to maybe return to in September to commence the BD at QUB. I will just have to wait and see what happens.....

In the mean time between now and then I am going to Lesotho (southern Africa) with Africa Inland Mission for about 5 weeks, even though I don't know when I'm going I am looking forward to serving my Almighty Wonderful Living God in distant lands.

So if you havn't guessed already I am a Christian who has experienced the most amazing grace from my loving God, who has blessed me undeservedly by calling me to learn of Him at Bible College.
